We are a Cummins Service and Warranty Center. We are seeking a Diesel Marine Mechanic who ideally has experience with Cummins Systems.
We are looking for someone who is punctual and reliable. Must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, be organized, possess attention to detail, able to work independently or assist as needed.
Additional Cummins training is provided and will be required to be maintained as part of the position.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing work orders and discussing work to be performed with the direct supervisor.
- Conduct a thorough assessment prior to starting a job.
- Perform mechanical overhaul and repair work on diesel marine engines and related marine equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and test marine engines and equipment to determine need for repairs or adjustments.
- Record time and job details in project management software, assign part to appropriate vessel.
Required experience:
- Third or Fourth year Marine Mechanic
- Cummins Systems
- Marine Diesel Engines
Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm. Extended Health and Dental plan offered along with employer matched RRSP program after probationary period.
